Benton Casts Doubt on Paul's Chances at Nomination

Today - 22 August 2012 - Jesse Benton of the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign cast serious doubt on Paul's chances of securing the nomination at the Republican National Convention to be held at the beginning of next week.

From The Fix by Chris Cillizza at the Washington Times:

************************************************************************************

“We have identified every RNC delegate and alternate, both bound to us, bound to Romney or unbound, and have 373 delegates and alternates that support Dr. Paul,” Benton said.

************************************************************************************

It takes 1,144 delegates to secure the nomination.  Is there any stealth left in the movement?

Maybe...  Maybe not... But the numbers seem to be daunting.
